^Lot 1521 Iver Johnson Safety Automatic Hammer 38 S&W

Sn: T52772. Third Model for smokeless powder cartridges, with double post barrel latch. Manufactured 1909-1941. Features nickel finish, checkered black hard rubber "Owl's Head" grips, 3 1/4" barrel, 5 shot fluted cylinder. Bore is bright, good rifling with scattered light pitting. Retains about 60% coverage of nickel finish, with remainder showing finish loss turned to a brown patina, mostly on the lower barrel/top strap, and at muzzle, scatter aras of light pitting. Grips are very good. Action is good with good lock-up.
